It’s that time of year again for Read Across America Day here at RMMS!
March 1 is NEA's official Read Across America Day and our plan is to recognize and celebrate Read Across America during our March 1 All School Morning Meeting and throughout the day as teachers wish. The date to celebrate Read Across America is scheduled as close as possible to March 2, the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, the beloved author known simply as "Dr. Seuss." This year's theme is "Grab your Hat and Read with the Cat."
We will celebrate with a whole school pajama day, many guest readers, and many individual celebrations in classrooms. Check back for pictures of the day!
